Moving forward 2014, my daughter...

I admit, I wrote less about my youngest child! When 2013 ends, today, hope she can gathers all that she has done and achieved for the year. I have recorded a few, but I am sure there are more. Some promises has been said for the new 2014, hope she can make it happen.

2013 School's Holiday in Summary...

It is the end of the 2013 schools' holiday. All the children, my grandchildren are backed in their 'dens'. Isaac and Daniel are already back home in Sepang, after long holiday in Kuching. Ali is now up and running after his 'berkhatan' and his endeavoring interest of making some monies during the long holiday. He started his 'own, business running a tuck-shop for friends and his assistant Miss Maryam. Khallish is not practising her chinese vocabs and she will be in Primary 1 in the same school when the year turn '14! Nisa, recovered fron the chicken-pox and she is fine now. Fayyad and his 'cover lines' statements makes talking to him a fun moments. Qaseh, 'graduated' from cake baking! Aqif, poor Aqif is moving on to Sibu...

Going to school is challenging for both parents and children. This boy, his sister and mum must have got use to this mode of commuting over time. Why can school and work be at 9am? Life can be better for all. Kids need the sleep.

Minggu depan puasa, bulan depan raya

Ramadan kena lalui sebelum kita merayai kemenangan di bulan Syawal. Persiapan berpuasa sunnat, mengkaji balik rukun puasa, sunnat2 puasa, bab2 terawih , meningkatkan bacaan AlQuran, bersedekah, zakat & fitrah. Kita hendak  cemerlang pada kesemuanya. Kita buat terbaik tahun ini. Ya Allah, makbulkanlah. Amin.

Some tech jargons never change with time..

How many years have mobile phones been in the market? Decades and how many phones have you changed since you started using handphone? Each time you bought a phone since then, you are most probably been advice to have your battery to be charged for full 8 hours! And that recommendation stays. Having said that, does that me the is no improvement on the power element? I don't so. The phone dealers never change their scripts since day one mobile phone hit the market!

Adap Berpuasa

1. Menyegerakan berbuka setelah dipastikan matahari itu terbenam. Afdal berbuka dengan kurma. Jila tiada, dengan beberapa teguk air.

2. Ada hikmah pada makanan sahur. Bersahurlah walaupun dengan seteguk air.

3. Melambatkan sahur. Batasan berhenti  makan ialah bila azan berkumandang.

4. Menjaga mata dan telinga sepanjang.

5. Mandi junub sebelum fajar. Bagitu juga  haid dan nifas.

6. Tidak melakukan bekam disiang hari.

7. Membaca doa berbuka.

8. Memberi makanan untuk orang berbuka. Mendapat pahala sama dengan orang yang berpuasa.

9. Bersedekah, membaca Al-Quran dan beriltikaf di masjid. Semakin akhir Ramadan semakin besar pahala.

Practice make pefect. Most important, your commitment!

On daily basis my colleague would send email to those involved in the war cry session. Look like eveyone is excited to be the team to show the best memorable cry! To be the best, it is the commitment to practice, practice, practice! Yesterday, some dude sent over an alternative! In these sessions you learn the steps so you cannot delegate! Sorry! Should have asked me before you sent the alternative, you should know better! Lucky Mr. passion was around which keep me going through the whole session. So back to the email thing, just ask yourself, are you truly part of the team? Do your see our objectives? Do you need to be informed/reminded daily? Placed your right arm on your chest and quietly speak to your heart, then act on it. Whatever the answer!! @jo

Lantikan sebagai penolong biro penerangan Surau An Nur, Kasturi Height, Nilai

Syukur kepada Illahi, dan juga kepercayaan rakan-rakan keatas diri saya untuk menjadi penolong biro penerangan surau (27/5/2013). Tidak dinafikan juga, ini adalah satu amanah yang harus dipikul dengan penuh tanggung-jawab demi kebaikan qariah dan orang ramai yang dan akan berinteraksi dengan surau. 

Biro ini pelik sikit. Sekejap ada sekejap tak ada! Tahun lepas, biro ini tiada dalam senarai AJK. Tahun ini dicadangkan supaya ianya di adakan semula. So memang seperti tiada kerja-kerja yang perlu disambung terus.

First thing first. Cari maklumat yang ada dalam web mengenai surau. Mungkin ada terdapat blog blog yang dah ada diguna pakai untuk menyampaikan maklumat kepada semua. @jo

What's missing in my payslip? | Housing...

There is a 'price' for everything. You have to sacrifice a previlage to ensure objecives are gain or achieve. A complete, thorough and qualiy output have time as it's price. I was thinking about this statement and asking back what if there is no objective or the outcome preferred is status quo? ..and worst, there is a price to pay fo the status quo! I need to do something about this. Just can keep quite... @jo

HON YY | Retired and still going stong..

18.30 hrs, I bumped into avery old colleague, retired and still going strong, with his wife and daughter walking up the pathment to the parking lot of menara. Hon YY, been working with him many years back im Sarawak. Glad to see him after all these years and it was really a surprise for me to be able to see him again. We talked for a while. He has his daughter working wih TOP, now I know. Ok, Hon YY happy reunion. Be staying for a while before flying back home to Kch. @jh

My 4 days break in my home town .. For foodie...

Ambient environment while waiting patiently at one of the cafe at KIA. Weather looks ok and will be dark soon. Enjoying the muffin and sandwich brother cousin Najib's treats when he saw me at thw KIA.

For rhe food that I have not tasted for months, I walloped mee belancan, mee jawa special, ayam penyet, cendol, mee kampua, mee kolok, prawns, big prawns and many many of them. For all the 4 days, I did not have the opportunity to taste things the second time. They are just too plenty!

Will return during the raya holidays. I have booked my flight together wth wife and daughter.

Chatter boxes..7pm Seremban bound..

Some really can talk and never want to stop, on the phone! It is coming to half- hour and still talking. Battery must be warm by now and credit time keeps reducing. Well some people do live by talking, it seems..@jo

Pizza here? Where is boss?

School holiday and some of us still crowd the office. So everyone chip ini some money enough to get 12 boxes of Domino. It was buy one free one. So we paid for only 6. So enough for everyone..but the bosses were on leave. We worked and everyone are happy..planning to the next on on Wednesday..but this time, cendol and rojak.. @jo

0800 at KL Sentral and waiting to pass..

Arriving at KL Sentral early doesn't gurantee you to reach office on time. The rushes when more that a trian arrived at more that one platform can caused a havoc. Well, probably, there was only one KTM gatekeper this morning. @jo

1800hrs Sentral Seremban...Man!!!

The annoucement was wronng for the arriving train. It was supposed to be  3 coach train but it was a 6 coach that came! Ok.. But the rush was on the platform.  Once inside you have no seat, you have got to do away with the standing space!. My toes are killing me.and so are my legs. Today, I have to stand. On other days, the probability to stand is quite remote. Yes it hurts so much now, but a few stops more.I should be able to sit. That's life here. @jo

Permata atau kaca?

Jangan main2 dgn org politik jika org biasa (macam saya). Lagi2 time eleksen begini. Posting kena hati2. Saya bukan ahli politik. Saya ikut apa saya suka untuk pilih gomen. Perkara yang saya nampak biasa saja jadi sensitive bagi mereka. Saya rasa itu susah o. So kena jaga hati kawan2 yang ada sebelah sana dan sebelah sini. Sorry lah kawan. Bagi saya, saya nampak kaca dan permata merata! So saya rasa, saya akan pilih yang kurang buat kaca. Masa depan? Minta2 saya sihat, dgn kudrat yg ada, dgn empat kerat tulang ku saya, cukuplah. Tak sanggup melihat/mendengar macam2 time ini. Sekian dari pikiran ku yang simple. @jo

The CSOC UniFi Bowling 2013 | 17 March 2013 | Cosmic Bowl, Mid Valley

It was Sunday, an early morning drive from Nilai to KL with family to take part in the our own private tournament CSOC UniFi Bowl. The first time-out together with team since  UniFi was borned in 2009. The organizing committee were young energetic and workoholic. Kudos to them all. Yes it was fun for everybody. Beside the bowl we had the birthday celebration for those who were borned in Q4'12 and Q1'13. Better late than never. @jo

Ubah Format Pamer, dan usang..rumah pun kena repair..

Melihat sesuatu dari sudut bebagai dan naluri untuk membuat pembaikan perlu dipupuk. Hasilnya, kita akan menjadi lebih kritikal dan menyeluroh dalam membuat keputusan demi kebaikan.

Contoh: Pada  mula2nya kita menggunakan sesuatu kaedah/format utk mempamerkan data. Ya betul maklumat cukup dan melebihi. Tanya pengguna2 data kita sekali sekala dapatkan kepastian apa mereka nak. Ubah cara kita pamerkan info2 supaya lebih menarik. Continuos improvement in action. Benda ini nampak kecik dan remeh tapi amat bekesan utk produktiviti diri dan rakan kerja. Sekian @jo

Qaseh..my grand daugher..

She is the youngest.grand child..emm..for now. The 8th. A girl, cute as she is, is pleasurerable to hold and talk to. She may understood some words and responded accordingly which makes you smile and all worries and tiredness gone. Meeting here almost every week to see her grow and laugh. She is adorable...my little Qaseh..@jo

Anda Terantai kepada Kekurangan Anda?

Pernah anda melihat gajah2 peliharan? Yang dewasa akan diikat dengan tali dan dipasak kebumi dgn kayu yang tak seberapa besarnya. Lain pula kisahnya dgn anak gajah. Ianya dirantai dan diikat pada kayu teguh dan besar. Lambat laun dengan masa, anak gajah akan mengalah dan process menjinak bemula. Rantai ini akan ditukar dgn tali proses 'reconditioning'. Anak gajah akan tertipu apabila ianya diikat dia tak boleh kemana2!

Sering kita berada didalam situasi begini, termasuk.diri saya sendiri. Kita ingat kita tak boleh buat disebabkan atas kepercayaan kita pada keupayahan kita..'tak leh', 'susah'..  telah dikondisikan oleh kita sendiri dan bukan atas realiti. Sekian. @jo

When did you last had your air-conditioners serviced? Two years, more? It is just not taking the filters off and clean and wipe here and there on the air-cons  You will be surprised what you will discovered when using chemical. It was yes, dirty and filthy.
